Nitish Sinha is a Assistant professor and Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and possesses more than 2 years of teaching experience. He has completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Asansol Engineering College, West Bengal University of Technology and subsequently M.Tech and Ph.D from VNIT Nagpur. He is associated with GHRIBM since January 2019. He has published 5 SCI, 5 Scopus, 5 Book Chapter and 15 papers in National/International Conferences. He is member of professional bodies like IAENG and Reviewer Journal of Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, Elsevier , World Journal of Engineering, Emerald.

Program Outcomes

  • PO1:Engineering Knowledge:Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • PO2:Problem analysis:Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • PO3:Design/development of solutions:Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Eligibility

For Admission to First Year Engineering course
  • Passed HSC examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories) in the above subjects taken together; and Obtained score in MHT-CET 2020/Non-zero positive score in JEE MAIN.
For Admission to Direct Second Year Engineering course
  • Passed SSC or HSC and Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories ) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an AICTE approved Institution
  • Passed B.Sc. Degree from (UGC) recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories ) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject
