About Department

The Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department is since inception of the College with intake of 30 in UG program. The department has several well equipped industry grade laboratories, specialized software and furnished ICT class rooms with multimedia facilities. The department also offers academic value additions like: Industrial Visits, Industry Internship Projects, Expert Lecture from Industry Experts, Virtual Labs from IIT Bombay, GATE Exam Training,Aptitude Training sessions by Experts, Poster & Technical competitions and Hobby Clubs. The department has also received various funded research projects from the Government & Private sector.It has recently established a Centre of Excellence in Solar Photo Voltaic and Arduino to teach the students current industry trends & practices.

Electronics and Telecommunication engineering is one of the most popular disciplines in the field of engineering. As the name suggests, the course complies the concepts from both the Communication and Electronics. Students studying this course will work with Electronic Devices, Circuits, Integrated Circuits and Communication Equipment like Transmitter, Receiver, etc. The field also deals with Basic Electronics, Analog and Digital transmissions and reception of data, Microprocessors, Satellite Communication, Microwave Engineering, Antenna and Wave Propagation.

HOD Profile

Mr.H.K.Bhangale completed his B.E in Instrumentation Engineering from J.N.E.C Aurangabad. He Completed his M.E in Digital Techniques and Instrumentation from SGSITS, Indore. He has over 24 years of Teaching and Industrial Work experience .He has published more than 12 research papers in International , National journals and Conferences. He has conducted various workshops, Faculty Development Programs, and Seminars.

He has fetched 3.6 Lac of Research funding Grant from various Funding agencies.

He has Life time Membership of IAENG - International Association of Engineers. He has attended many professional programmes throughout his career for skill expertise from reputed agencies which include NITTTR, RAHE, AICTE, and IITB-Remote Center.

Program Outcomes

  • Engineering Knowledge:Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • Problem analysis:Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • Design/development of solutions:Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

For First Year Engineering:
  • The Candidate should be an Indian Naltiona.
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2019 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2019


    Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
For Direct Second Year Engineering:
  • Passed HSC examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories) in the above subjects taken together; and obtained score in MHT-CET 2020/Non-zero positive score in JEE MAIN.
For Direct Second Year Engineering:
  • Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
  • Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject: Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.
